Teacher: Dave Hall
Musician: Robert Mackay
Friday 5th – Sunday 7th October
Our teacher for 2018 will be Dave Hall and our class musician is Robert Mackay The course is suitable for those who already have a good working knowledge of common steps and formations in Scottish Country Dancing but we regret is not suitable for beginners. This weekend will give you an opportunity to improve your technique, learn new dances and enjoy all social aspects of Scottish Country Dancing.
The weekend commences with introductions and dinner on Friday and includes social dancing on Friday and Saturday evening to recorded music. Each morning there are two classes and these will include technique and the finer points of steps and formations in dances old and new. During Saturday afternoon there will be an optional workshop or you could take the opportunity to relax in the grounds of the house or explore the nearby town of Ilminster. The course finishes after lunch on Sunday.
